Four years after the release of the PIM platform’s first public beta, Akeneo is preparing to launch their most significant product update to date. Akeneo 2.0 is set to launch on September 28th, and will provide retailers with comprehensive benefits.
With a redesigned interface, this new version has a vastly improved user experience based on months of end user research. Retailers can filter the channel and locale that they are working on and easily identify missing product information in a clean, intuitive interface. Version 2.0 also has optimised product management capabilities, simplifying work with more complex catalogs.
In perhaps the biggest update to the platform, Akeneo 2.0’s ‘Serenity’ edition provides access to Akeneo PIM from anywhere through the cloud, in a Software-as-a-Service format. With automated updates, Akeneo Serenity will easily benefit from new features as soon as they are released.
