THE ROLE

• Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including HP/Aruba switches, access points, and Palo Alto SD-WAN
• Administer and optimize cloud resources within Azure, Oracle Cloud, AWS, and Alibaba Cloud, ensuring cost-efficiency and scalability.
• Ensure the availability and performance of databases including Oracle, DB2, MS SQL Server, and MySQL.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including system upgrades, patching, security configurations, and equipment monitoring using cloud-native and on-premises tools.
• Identify and troubleshoot infrastructure issues, implementing solutions to maintain uptime and performance..
• Manage and administer Windows Server, Oracle, Ubuntu, and other Linux-based systems.
• Collaborate with IT teams across other disciplines to ensure smooth integration and problem resolution.
• Document procedures and maintain accurate records of all activities.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and best practices in the field.

THE CANDIDATE

• 3+ years of experience as an Infrastructure Operations Engineer.
• Experience in cloud computing concepts (Oracle Cloud, AWS, Azure, Alibaba Cloud).
• Foundational understanding of networking, including HP/Aruba with Palo Alto-SD-WAN;  CCNA level knowledge.
• Proven skills in managing and troubleshooting databases like Oracle, DB2, MS SQL Server, and MySQL.
• Strong experience with Ubuntu, and other Linux-based systems.
• Knowledge, deployment, and CI/CD practices.
• Strong experience with Windows Server environments.
• Experience with server patching and Level 2 support for large-scale infrastructure.
• Knowledge of global security frameworks and standards like CGMP, HIPAA, CIS, NIST, FIPS is a plus.
• Knowledge of service management frameworks such as ITIL utilizing ServiceNow is an advantage
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
