This role is to ensure all current and future eCommerce systems and processes are working well and meeting the needs working well within the Japan business as well as working with the Regional office to build best practice guidelines for the business to follow.

The Senior Project Manager will lead eCommerce Projects by supporting the Regional office and vendors and help identify requirements of the local Japan business and build the requirements, scope and follow through to rollouts. 


  • Familiar with eCommerce operations
  • 5 years or above in operating eCommerce platforms
  • Experience as lead eCommerce or IT Project Manager
  • Preferred Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud
  • Strong analytics skills, familiarity with Google Analytics will be an advantage
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to interact and build relationships at all levels
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Strong analytics skills, familiarity with Google Analytics will be an advantage
  • Degree holder in Business, IT, Digital or eCommerce; experience in digital and eCommerce solution will be an advantage
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English and Japanese


  • Maintaining Japan platform working alongside Regional and Vendors. Review and refine platform stability and manage system performance, ensure system quality & smooth logistics flow.
  • Develop working change management, procedures, and operations processes for the Japanese business.
  • Work with the Regional team in English to be the main Japan contact point to support the Japan eCommerce team and wider business to resolve any problems and work on system enhancements.
  • Manage all communication with Vendors and the Regional team to make sure that the Japan team is getting supported, and the local team is informed.
  • Manage and execute daily operations of e-commerce platforms.
  • Acceptance Testing and troubleshooting of all new functionality.
