NFP/NGO: Médecins Sans Frontiéres - Hong Kong

The Challenge

How could MSF efficiently transform their online presence across multiple markets?

In 2017, Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) HK made the decision to reengineer its network of websites across Asia. The project scope included its multi-languages sites, including MSF - On track to save, MSF - Warehouse, MSF - SIF and MSF Day. With complex customisation requirements across English, Traditional and Simplified Chinese languages, MSF sought a partner with the experience and expertise to deliver at speed and scale, whilst meeting exacting standards of quality.

The Strategy

Enhance the digital experience through user-centric design and seamlessly interconnected technology

Due to the agency’s experience in the region and a business relationship spanning over 10 years through MSF Australia, eWave was selected to develop the MSF Asia websites on the Drupal CMS platform. eWave worked with the organisation to build an online channel that would enhance the digital experience through user-centric design, and streamline CMS functions so that all departments of the organisation can manage their content pages and campaign sites efficiently. With a growing share of users interacting from small-screen devices, mobile-optimised responsive design was a large consideration in the UX process.
