eWave Accelerates Growth in Asia with Acquisition of Hong Kong Based Commerce Agency, Infinity Technologies

Sydney, NSW – 23 May 2018 – eWave, Australia’s leading commerce agency, has acquired Hong Kong based Infinity Technologies, continuing its expansion across the APAC region as part of an aggressive global growth strategy. Following the acquisition, Infinity will fully merge operations with eWave and take on the eWave name.

Combining global expertise with local market knowledge, eWave has successfully delivered complex, experience-driven commerce solutions across B2B and B2C for some of the world’s leading organisations - including iconic brands such as Nestle, Canon, Nike and Coca-Cola.

Fatima Said, Co-founder & Managing Director of eWave, said the acquisition presented a significant opportunity to better support her current client’s growth and expansion into the Asian marketplace, while opening the door to new business across the APAC region.

“This is an exceptional win for our business, locally and globally; one that further cements eWave as digital industry leaders, both technically and creatively, across Asia Pacific,” Said announced.

Karl Norman, Co-founder & CEO of eWave, noted that, from a strategic perspective the acquisition was a key move to accelerate the agency’s growth through Asia.

“This acquisition will allow us to service customers in Asia in need of stronger capabilities across Salesforce multi-cloud, Magento and Adobe,” Norman said.

“Digital commerce sales in Asia Pacific are set to reach $1.9 Trillion USD this year, which makes the region as a whole incredibly important for us, our partners and our clients,” said Norman. “We’re working with several organisations who want to grow in this region, and having more people on the ground is essential to enabling that growth at speed.”

Arthur So, who founded Infinity Technologies, will lead operations across Hong Kong and China for eWave.

“Our team and clients will benefit from the breadth and depth of skills that the expanded network brings to the table. This partnership is the perfect fit culturally and strategically; the future is looking very bright for us all in the new digital economy,” So said.

More details on eWave office openings and hiring across Asia will be revealed in the coming months.
